Which Program is Right For My Dog
Consider which program suits your dog’s needs. Please call us for advice if needed.
K9 Fun Swim (half hour sessions)
Your dog may benefit from recreational swimming if he:
- Is young and energetic
- Is a sport, performance or working dog
- Is not getting enough exercise or is bored at home
- Is mildly out of shape
- Loves water
- Sport dogs may benefit from conditioning in the treadmill instead of the pool.
Your dog may qualify for recreational swimming if he:
- Is not severely overweight/obese (see Weight Management program)
- Does not have severe arthritis
- Has not had recent surgery
- Does not have lingering medical or orthopedic problems
Although we provide trained personnel to help swim your dog, this program is not intended to be rehabilitation or therapy to treat any disease or condition, and advanced advice on physical conditioning is not provided. If your pet needs individualized assessment, injury or disease specific treatment, or focused planned conditioning, this is not the program for him.
